If you are hungry or otherwise in need of assistance, you may call United Way’s 211 “First Call for Help” for a listing of organizations in your area. Just dial 2-1-1 or call 828-252-4357.
Catholic Charities Food Pantry
Provides groceries to individuals and families in need. Distribution is Wednesdays 12:30 – 4:00, but call first to verify that they are open.

Western Carolina Rescue Mission
Serves lunches weekdays 11:30 – 12:30 and dinner 7 days a week at 4:30 pm
