"The specific character of catechesis, as distinct from the initial conversion - bringing proclamation of the Gospel - has the twofold Objective of maturing initial faith and of educating the disciple of Christ by means of a deeper and more systematic knowledge of the person and the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Sunday Catechesis Assembly gives families the opportunity to socialize and pray with one another prior to dividing into age appropriate groups. Through these classes everyone gains a deeper understanding of the message of Jesus and his Church. In this way, we are able to form a stronger community across all generations while allowing everyone to learn about the teachings of Christ in a manner that is both accessible and challenging.
